Kiln Coffee Bar has all the best downtown coffee shop vibes and decor—it feels more like home than a business. 326 Main St The chocolate from Dirty Lil’ Cacao is made in Grand Junction and there are free samples to taste! 300 Main St Suite 101B (downstairs!) Telluride, CO is just 2.5 hours from Grand Junction, and can make for a fun day trip that’s so worth the driving time! You can spend a lot of money if you want, but we just kept it simple and cheap! Here’s what we did: ⭐️Left Grand Junction at 8:00 am, and arrived in Telluride just after 10:30am We Parked in the free parking lot called Car Henge, and walked the river trail until we reached the Gondola Station. ⭐️ Hopped on the Gondola (totally free and so fun!) to Mountain Village ⭐️We played cornhole, giant connect 4 and Jenga until we were ready for lunch. ⭐️ We packed a picnic lunch and ate it in one of the Gondola picnic tables (old gondolas they turned in to eating areas) ⭐️ After lunch we walked some of the paths in Mountain Village and played at the playground. ⭐️ We stopped at the Visitor’s center for a $1 candy bar before heading back to Telluride in the Gondola. ⭐️ Once we got back, we took a walk on the streets of Telluride and found an ice cream cart. Decided to run off some energy playing tag at the park while we ate ice cream! ⭐️ We walked on the river trail again to our car and drove back to Grand Junction, getting home around 5:00pm. What a touching night to witness. When one of the boys found out he had Alopecia and had to shave his head, his friends rallied around him and did the same. There were so many more involved that shaved their heads to show support that aren't pictured.
